About

Sigi Fischer begins his career in 1987 in Munich, Germany, dedicating his early years to film, music, and theater before fully committing to the film world. He works as an assistant director, producer and documentary filmmaker, supporting film and television productions in Germany, the United States and Israel. Later he becomes involved in the education of film professions as a lecturer, tutor, and finally headmaster.

After 25 years in the feature film industry, Sigi Fischer accepts the invitation by a think tank for multinational brand development in 2012 and moves to Switzerland. There, he shifts his focus to designing visual worlds for international corporate communications within the realm of film and photography. He assists companies on their journey to digital representation and in the ongoing process of structural digitization.

Since its founding in 2020 "Sigi Fischer – Film & Photography" contributes 100% of its net profit to the foundation «Independent Source for a Sustainable Life» in Indonesia. Yayasan „SUMBER MANDIRI HIDUP LESTARI" (5/1135/TPS/2022) is operated by locals and aims at empowering people to improve their economics, health and environmental situation.
